Over half a million new articles have been added to the Irish Newspaper Collection on Findmypast over the past month.
The latest updates include 4 brand new titles as well as additional articles in a further 7 existing ones. This brings the entire collection to 119 different national, regional and local Irish newspapers covering 248 years of history from 1708-1956. In all, you can now delve into over 20.9 million fully searchable articles.
Of the 7 titles that have had additional articles added, the most substantial updates were made to Northern Whig (196,924), Lisburn Herald, and Antrim and Down Advertiser (36,533) and Derry Journal (20,906). These three updates will be a great boost for anyone tracing their family history in the north of Ireland.
