Dear Findmypast member,

It’s been another exciting week at Findmypast. On Monday, we were delighted to announce the acquisition of, the fastest growing genealogy company in the US.  Together with Origins and our recent tender win of the 1939 Register for England and Wales, this latest addition to the Findmypast family will enable us to offer you even more records and faster technological developments. These acquisitions, along with our ongoing refinements to our site are helping us fulfil our aim of providing our members with a richer family history resource. You can read more about the acquisition here.

On Monday we published the Honourable Artillery Company records, a real highlight of our 100in100 campaign. This is the first time these beautiful colour records have been seen online, and as one of the most complete collections of World War 1 records to survive, they form a valuable addition to our collections. We also added non-conformist records to our parish records collection - and with almost a fifth of our 100in100 campaign still to run, there are plenty more to come.

We are renaming and updating our Feedback Forum. It’s will be called the Ideas Board and we’ll be keeping it updated with projects which are planned, in progress and completed. Please do keep submitting ideas you’d like to see us work on.

Our team will be in York this weekend at the Family History Fair. They’d love to meet you in person so if you’re in the area please do come and say hi.

Very best,

Annelies Van Den Belt
