The Boer War records can tell you key information about your military ancestors, including the unit in which they served, where they became a casualty, which war memorial they appear on and the honours and awards they received.

The records are an invaluable aid for family historians as they contain information from more than 470 sources – some very rare and others out of print – to create a single record for each participant. The records instantly show you information that would usually take many hours of painstaking research.

We’re working with Meurig Jones to bring you these fantastic records.

A relative of mine was in Ceylon on a plantation from 1919 until his death in 1932/3 in an accident. I can’t find any trace of his life in Ceylon except he lived in Colombo in 1921. We don’t know exactly how and when he died or where he is buried. I do have a photo of him with natives and other Europeans holding rifles – Rifle Corps? How can I trace Reginald Charles Howe 1900-1932 please?
