It’s good that the 1851 census is complete for English and Welsh counties, and your transcriptions are normally very much better than the other genealogy sites. But what about the Channel Islands, where my relations come from? Why are these not included?

I disagree about the standard of transcription. I have submitted so many correction that I have lost count. On average, there must be at least one error on every other page I view. The other frustrating problem is the frequency of ‘timeouts while searching’ if you are a bit vague about the surname. Ancestry.co never has a problem with that, and apart from not having the 1911 census, is vastly superior in every way. All their BMD indexes are transcribed and name-searchable for a start.
