Looking for information about John Scatcher (or Scatchard) of either Ackworth or Methley. With wife Elizabeth?, the parents of George Scatcher. I think he (George)was born in Ackworth in 1773. George married Elizabeth Mitchell in Horbury in 1793. Any marriage records for John would be greatly appreciated. George is my 5X grandfather. I would love to get back another generation or two.
