If you use a Mac and have recently upgraded your operating system to the new Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) release, it is likely that you will experience problems with the DjVu image viewer when viewing images on findmypast.com using the Safari browser.
Here is an article that describes how to solve the problem - it has been tested and is a simple fix that does not require a download.

I found this by doing a search in Google, and am hoping it will fix the problem, though I haven’t tried it as yet. How much better if someone at Findmypast had directed me to this personally after my original email to you. The reply I got simply said you didn’t know much about Macs, as you all had PCs. A totally inadequate customer service reply I thought. And when I fired off an, admittedly bad-tempered reply I heard nothing more.
Really this is not how to handle ‘difficult’ customers, as I admit I may have been.

This isn’t a great fix because when Safari is run in 32-bit mode all the performance and security benefits of 64-bit mode are lost.
