Family Tree Explorer 3 – multiple spouses now added

Tags: , , , , , , ,

Posted in Uncategorized

We have now added support for multiple spouses within Family Tree Explorer 3.

You will notice that there are now arrows pointing upwards and downwards from each individual: use these to add a new partner to somebody in your family tree.

Once a secondary partner has been added, a tab will appear next to the individual, indicating multiple spouses.

I’m new to this myself, Do you know your parents 1911 adresses? If so, try thew census for that year and see who else lived in the house. In my area (Essex) there are electoral Roll records for more recent times, if so so, you could find any others in the household – most likely relatives, and their ages.

I am trying to find Joseph Lovett’s parents. He is originally from England! Born in 1756. He came to Philadelphia, Pa on a ship named Clementia. This ship came from Portugal and he came as an indentured slave to Batso Furnace. The reason he came this way was to avoid the Kings rule that kept people from leaving England. Anyone have any information, please reply.

      Hi Steve,

We’re in the process of moving to a new and improved version of our family tree. The new tree currently doesn’t let you import a GEDCOM but we hope to introduce this feature very soon.

If you’ve got any questions in the meantime, please drop our customer support team an email and they’ll take a look for you: support@findmypast.co.uk

      Thanks,

      Jess (findmypast.co.uk digital content manager)
