We have changed our Privacy Policy to give you far more information on our use of your data and your rights to access and alter it. We have also included a plain English summary so that it is easier to understand.
Here are the main changes that you should be aware of:
- ‘No Spam guarantee’ - we guarantee not to sell or rent your private data to third parties
- We now provide you with a way to request a copy of the data we hold on you
- An explanation of third parties who process your data on our behalf and our contractual agreements with them
- We now tell you more about the different types of email that we send you and your ability to unsubscribe from them
We have made the change for two main reasons. The first is that we wanted to provide you with reassurance about the importance we attach to data security and protecting your information. Secondly, we are about to change our email system and as part of this we will be storing some of your data outside the European Union; specifically in Denver, USA. Therefore we need to tell you that your data will be transferred and stored (very securely) outside the EU.
